Not so tiny baby hat

Well, I talked about the "not so tiny" baby hat, but I forget to post a picture of it. This baby hat turned out better (and bigger!), and I like the ruffle. I'm still pretty new at this crochet thing, so you can definitely tell where my rounds join. How do you make that look better? I can't find anything about that in "Crocheting for Dummies."

I don't have a baby laying about the house, so Flopsy here is my model. Pretty cute, huh. I just can't get the booties on those big ol' bunny feet.
