WIP Friday

My very first "WIP Friday" and I actually have a WIP. Not the scarf. Finished that and actually wore it this morning, since it was actually below 40 degrees and since I am notoriously cold-natured, even though I love cold weather, go figure. But, I digress. I mean to talk about Bitty Booties...hooray for Bitty Booties! What an adorable little pattern, thank you Heather for this great pattern. This picture was taken a couple of days ago, so I've got them pretty much together now, just some finishing touches left to do. I of course, had to make it more difficult than need be, and use the thickest felt ever. And line them with a thin little flannel so the super-thick itchy wool wouldn't bother baby feet. Anyway, they look....darlin'! I'll post a finished pic next week. Happy weekend!

What in the world is WIP? Great job on the scarf and doilies. I am also a crocher. Also my grandfather lives in Arkansas, near Fayetville. I will have to hook you up with this great prayer shawl pattern where you can be praying for the recipient as you work on it.

My favorite source for wool is old wool blankets found at thrift stores! That's where this wool came from...a gorgeous pink wool blanket I found at a junk store for $10.00. I have another one (sorta red/burgundy)I found for $4.00! Oh yeah, lovin' that. I told Jimmy I wanted a pair for myself! They look so comfy and yummy.
